Single-axis tracker with two rows and smart algorithms

Deploying trackers can offer a higher yield, as they are tracking the sun, to bring the modules into a perfect azimuth position throughout the day. Like modules, these devices are constantly being developed to make them more efficient, cheaper, and easier to install. In this pv magazine Webinar, we will hear what Soltec has developed to attain these goals in their latest product update.

Single-axis but dual rows: this is the concept of Soltec’s SFoneX single-axis tracker. One motor actuates two rows, each 125 meters long. Using half the amount of motors will cut down on BOS cost and points of failure, providing improved economics for this type of installation.

Deploying trackers can offer a higher yield, as they are tracking the sun, to bring the modules into a perfect azimuth position throughout the day. Like modules, these devices are constantly being developed to make them more efficient, cheaper, and easier to install.

In this pv magazine Webinar, Bernd Zwingmann, product development at Soltec, will show the details his team has developed to attain these goals in their latest product update. Terrain adaptability will be just one of the features we will be seeing. However, from discussions about wind stability and what happens when cloud cover sets in or hail falls from the skies, this webinar is set to answer all questions.

Meanwhile, Colin Caufield, VP of sales at Soltec, will add how the new tracker’s Smart Power algorithm is helping to ensure optimal power production throughout the day.

pv magazine Webinar content:

  • Features and capabilities of Soltec’s SFOneX tracker
  • Understand how the SFOneX maximizes energy production
  • Learn more about Soltec algorithms to optimize these parameters
  • Engage with experts during the Q&A session

Questions can be submitted beforehand in the comments window when registering or in the chat during the live webinar. Marian Willuhn, senior editor at pv magazine Deutschland, will be the moderator of this webinar.

Registration for this pv magazine webinar is free of charge.
